COVID-19 Testing FAQ

Please read carefully to the following information:

We are currently offering COVID-19 testing to our patients from Newborn to 21 years of age. All insurances are covering COVID19 testing for suspected, observation or exposure. For screening using private insurance, some are subjected to copay, coins or deductible.

Every child and parent over the age of two must wear a face mask when entering our facilities. We allow one parent to accompany the child. Walk-ins only.

No referrals are required for all insurances.

Our facilities can perform Rapid Covid19 testing in our office, while supplies last, with same-day results. Walk-ins only.

If you are traveling outside the state you may be required to obtain test results that are molecular testing, these tests will be sent to an outside lab and results are returned on average of three to five days.

If your child is not experiencing any signs or symptoms, and you simply would like to request to be tested, this is considered “asymptomatic”. We strongly encourage you to make an appointment with our Telemedicine provider by first starting a video visit.

Through the virtual visit, a pediatric doctor will determine your children’s potential Covid-19 risk.  If it is medically necessary, your children will be scheduled for the follow-up COVID test at the nearest facility.

Parents who choose video visits minimize their children’s exposure to Covid-19 and experience shorter wait times.
